• Crow nuisance solution

Until now crow damage has been one of the most intractable issues facing bowls greenkeepers.Crows stab their beaks into the turf looking to lift out chafer grubs and leatherjackets. In doing so they scatter the dug out soil for up to two yards around the hole. This double-damage – holes that can be three inches deep and more, plus surface divots and clods of earth – is very dispiriting to bowlers and grounds staff alike.
